DMCA Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Commitment to Copyright Protection
MultiSave respects the intellectual property rights of all content creators and copyright holders. We are committed to responding promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
2. Our Architecture — Zero-Storage Disclaimer
It is important to understand that MultiSave operates on a zero-storage, ephemeral stream processing architecture. The Service does NOT host, store, cache, index, or archive any video, audio, image, or other media content on its servers. MultiSave acts solely as a transient technical conduit that processes publicly accessible URLs in real-time. Because no content is stored, a traditional "takedown" (removal of hosted content) may not apply. However, we will take all reasonable steps to prevent future processing of identified infringing URLs.
3. Safe Harbor Status Under 17 U.S.C. § 512
MultiSave operates as an Online Service Provider (OSP) and claims protection under the safe harbor provisions of Section 512 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. In compliance with these provisions, MultiSave has:
- Designated a DMCA Agent (identified below) to receive notifications of claimed infringement.
- Implemented a Repeat Infringer Policy (Section 6 below).
- Accommodated and does not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to identify or protect copyrighted works.
4. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content accessible through MultiSave infringes your copyright, please submit a written DMCA notice to our Designated Agent containing the following information:
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) you claim have been infringed.
- The specific URL(s) on MultiSave or the original content URL(s) that you believe infringe your rights, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate the material.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorized to act on your behalf).
Send your DMCA notice to: [email protected]
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA counter-notification to our Designated Agent containing:
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the District of Delaware if outside the United States) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, MultiSave will forward a copy to the original complaining party. If the original party does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the ability to process the disputed URLs.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), MultiSave maintains a policy of terminating or restricting access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Specifically:
- URLs that are the subject of valid DMCA notices will be blocked from processing.
- Users who repeatedly submit URLs that are subject to valid DMCA claims may have their access to the Service permanently revoked.
- MultiSave reserves the right to block processing of entire domains or content sources that are subject to multiple valid DMCA notices.
7. Response Time
We will review and respond to valid DMCA takedown notices within 24-48 business hours of receipt. Incomplete or non-compliant notices may require additional time for review and may be returned for correction.
