Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Introduction
MultiSave ("we", "our", or "the Service") is committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle data. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use multisave.app.
2. Information We Collect
MultiSave is designed to collect the absolute minimum data necessary to operate:
- URLs submitted for processing: Processed in real-time, never stored on our servers. URLs are discarded immediately after the processing session concludes.
- Anonymous analytics: We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (page views, approximate geographic region, device type, browser type) to improve our service performance.
- Cookies: Used by third-party advertising and analytics services as described below.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Social media credentials, passwords, or account tokens
- Downloaded video, audio, or image content
- IP addresses for tracking purposes (may be temporarily logged for rate-limiting and security only)
- Financial information or payment data
4. Local Storage Disclosure
MultiSave uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) to store your download history for convenience. This data:
- The history and recovery snapshot are stored on your device. When you request a download or preview, the link reference needed to retrieve it is sent to the relevant download service.
- Contains video titles, thumbnail URLs, platform names, timestamps, and link references used to reopen a result.
- In the installed app, a recent result may also be stored on this device to restore the screen after an interruption. It expires after 3 minutes and is removed when next checked or when history is cleared.
- To help share recent downloads without fetching them again, the browser may store up to ten video files locally, each up to 100 MiB and with a combined limit of 250 MiB. Browser storage may be cleared by the browser or may be unavailable. Clearing history also removes these local copies; files saved in your device Downloads remain separate.
- Can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser data or using the "Clear History" button within the app.
- Download history is keyed under
MultiSave_history; the temporary recovery snapshot uses a separate local key.
5. How We Use Information
Any anonymized, aggregated data we collect is used solely to:
- Monitor and improve service performance, stability, and uptime.
- Understand general usage patterns to enhance user experience.
- Enforce rate-limiting and prevent abuse of the Service.
6. Third-Party Services & Advertising
MultiSave is a free service supported by third-party programmatic advertising networks (which may include, but are not limited to: Monetag, Adsterra, PropellerAds, or similar services). These networks may:
- Set cookies and use web beacons or similar tracking technologies.
- Collect anonymized data about your browsing behavior to serve relevant advertisements.
- Process data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
MultiSave does not share any personally identifiable information (PII) with advertising networks.
7. Cookies
Cookies used on MultiSave fall into the following categories:
- Essential cookies: Required for basic Service functionality (e.g., rate-limiting, security).
- Advertising cookies: Set by third-party ad networks to serve and measure advertisements. These are governed by the respective ad network's cookie policies.
- Analytics cookies: Used to collect anonymized usage statistics.
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.
